Domestic Violence Prevention Program

The Domestic Violence Prevention Program was established in 1995.  The program consists of five two-hour sessions taught by an attorney, a police officer and a Counselor.  Its purpose is to teach offenders alternative methods of dealing with disputes rather that resorting to violence.

The Domestic Violence Prevention Program is held  at 27701 Jefferson Avenue, St. Clair Shores.  There are six sessions that meet from 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM on Wednesday nights.  The fee for the program is $150.00 and you must register/enroll at the 40th District Court.  For enrollment information, the Probation Department at 445-5284.
