Our Mission Statement:   "To be instrumental in improving our city's appearance through landscaping, flower beds and physical improvements in our park network, and to foster beautification in our business and residential community."

Thanks to the many volunteers who took precious time from their own gardens to help plant flowers in our city. We extend appreciation to the many St. Clair Shores businesses that planted red geraniums, the city flower, in their summer landscape. Looks great!

Members are appointed by the Mayor and City Council members and serve 3 year terms -- the Beautification Commission has a membership of at least 9 people.

Meetings

Beautification meetings are held on the 2nd Wednesday of each month, March - November. The meetings are at SCS Department of Parks & Recreation offices (located in the Civic Arena building), 20000 Stephens, St. Clair Shores, Michigan, and begin at 7:00 p.m.
