a.      Award bid for the 2007 City Calendar, bids opened 9/26/06 Reschedule to 10/16/06

b.      Request to extend contract for Galui Construction for Divisions A, B, C, D, and E at 1999 Unit Prices Motion by McFadyen, seconded by Ahearn.  Approved 4-3.  Nays: Moffitt, Stahl, Walby

c.      Request to extend contract for Italia Construction Inc. at 1999 Unit Prices for District 6 Sidewalk Program Motion by McFadyen, seconded by Ahearn.  Approved 4-3.  Nays: Moffitt, Stahl, Walby

d.      Request approval of contract with Homeplate Sports Center for Concession Stand at Veteran’s Memorial Park Motion by McFadyen, seconded by Frederick.  Approved 7-0

8.      City Manager’s Report  Motion by McFadyen, seconded by Stahl to approve City Manager’s recommendation that the Parks & Recreation Director, or his designee, be the Staff Liaison for the Activities Committee, Dog Park Committee and the Carnival Committee.  Approved 7-0

10.  Request to Enter Closed Session as permitted by State Statute MCLA 15.268 8 (c & d) Motion by McFadyen, seconded by Frederick to enter Closed Session at 9:50 p.m.  Approved 7-0

Motion by McFadyen, seconded by Stahl to return to Open Session at 10:20 p.m.

Motion by McFadyen, seconded by Frederick to approve City Manager’s contract as amended.  Approved 7-0

Motion by Ahearn, seconded by McFadyen to adjourn the meeting at 10:40 p.m.  Approved 7-0
